Anyone receive confirmation e-mail on this?

weird, I e-mailed them to express my interest in the program today... but the coordinator said that she sent an interview offer direct to me this morning before i even reached out to them...

Needless to say I never recieved said e-mail.  nor have I recieved a confirmation e-mail.  something funky with the email connections is going down.  hope this hasnt happened with other programs as well...

would you mind giving a rough idea as to what you said in your email?  There are a couple of programs I am interested in and have not heard from, and was hoping for sort of an "outline" as to how to word an email to the program director showing my interest.  Appreciate any help :)

Is anyone interested in trading their Down State interview, I am scheduled for the 12th and would much rather come on the 11/11.

what are your guys thoughts on suny downstate?

They have a strong local reputation for training fabulous surgeons.  They rotate at MSKCC along with the residents from Cornell and are regarded as having superior operating skills.  Their weakness is lap/robot and relatively weak name recognition outside of the NE.  So if you want to become an amazing surgeon and don't mind doing a fellowship for lap/robot, this is an excellent program.
