If you were an applicant, why would you choose to train in your residency program?: 

The University of Utah offers ALL urology subspecialties with fellowship trained experts, high surgical volume, incredible research opportunities, and a collegial and supportive environment -- with world class skiing only 20 minutes away.

What is your program looking for in a graduating medical student?: 

Our program welcomes applicants with a strong work ethic and good attitude. We want well rounded students that demonstrate academic success, an interest in research, and meaningful extracurricular activities.

What part of an application do you consider most important in ranking applicants?: 

There isn't "one thing" that is the most important. The entire application is reviewed in conjunction with the interview experience in order to determine who would be an ideal fit for our program.  

What advice do you have for medical students hoping to match in Urology?: 

Get involved! Have a meaningful role in your medical school, research, urology department, community, etc.
