hello i am running of time... many good programs have dead line for receiving the application from ERASthere is delay in uploading my documents to ERAS can i apply for these programs with my Application and CV already on ERAS to catch them before the dead line (and the applicatio will include slots for LORs) to be sent once it is uploaded on ERAS whar are the BASIC documents to apply?is medical school transcript necessary.. or i can appply then it is sent once it is in ERAS? i think all documents will be ready one week after 1 st october(too late for the dead line) what to do

You are certainly running out of time. You can apply so as not to miss the deadlines, but programs may not read your file until you have:1) personal statement2) at least 2 LoRs, preferably all3) your USMLE step 1 score4) your CV/activities/experiences section.5) *maybe* transcriptSounds like you have 1, 3 and 4 lined up?--If not get on that, these are things you can control. Hurry, get the rest of it together. Submit what you have, carefully proofread of course. Gently nudge your LoR writers (and then be more assertive and simply let them know that app season is underway, apologize for asking late...even if you didn't, do whatever you need to do to have them send those into your deans office). Most important for programs to even consider offering an interview are CV, USMLE score, statement and at least 1-2 letters. Deans letter comes later for everyone and the transcript may be less important if you are from a pass/fail school but I would get that in ASAP. Technically you can submit so as not to miss the deadline, but your chances will get lower and lower as interviews are offered to other candidates and they have not yet read your file due to missing info. I would apply to more programs if your app is not ready until first week of Oct, you have already missed a bunch of programs with 9/15 deadlines. Look at last years interview dates, see who offered late, look at deadlines and see who has later deadlines. See if you can bulk up on programs that tend to cycle later in addition to the ones you were already considering. Good luck, hope this helps!
thank you so much for your helpful advicemy issue is that all the 5 LORs and school transcript ready.. but unfortunately still on ECFMG waiting scanning on ERAS which will take timeso what i would do based on your advice to apply with CV, Personal statment with reserved slots for already available LORs... and see what will happenbut how much time does it take from ordering ERAS to apply for a program and the arrival of application to the program (i guess not so much time)??????other thing i will also apply for programs with dead line october 15, and November 1st... (by these time all my documents should be ready on ERAS)my concern is programs with October 1st dead timethanks again
