Hi,I searched through the forum and I haven't been able to find a definite answer, so I apologize if this is obvious to others.My question is regarding the section on getting a LOR from the chairman of urology at my program: http://www.urologymatch.com/node/27.The problem is that my school doesn't have a urology program and thus no chairman.Furthermore, the section on getting a LOR states that getting a LOR from another program is okay, but not as good. So does that mean I'm at a disadvantaged position simply because I go to a school without an urology program? If I end up getting a LOR from a chairman at another program, would residency programs be sympathetic to the fact that I didn't have a chairman at my school? Thank you and I appreciate any feedback!
