Got rejected from University of Wisconsin today via ERAS. No offers since MSPE's went out...I wonder if that's a coincidence.Question: Can schools still see your transcript (i.e 3rd year grades, etc) before MSPEs, or is that their first look at grades?

Im pretty sure programs could

Im pretty sure programs could still see your grades from your transcript before the mspe went out.

Also got the Wisconsin rejection this morning. " This year we had an unusually large number of highly competitive applications, making it impossible for us to interview many well-qualified candidates." What's up with uro this year with all these applicants... Unusually large!

I think the only difference

I think the only difference is they can see your shelf scores and how you compare to your classmates

Thanks

That's what I assumed, since they were uploaded before. My grades are pretty weak, but I had an unusually lucky streak before MSPEs, and have heard crickets after...so I was trying to connect dots. But maybe there's no connection (hopefully).

In general it just seems

In general it just seems really quiet right now. I expected a lot more movement this week. I'd expect next week to open up

rejected. They say there are unusually large numbers of applicants every year I think (based on old forum threads...)However there are 4 from my school this year when we have only had 1/yr for last 5 years

According to forum posts: Michigan, Penn, Pitt, Lahey, NYU, Miami, Cornell, Beaumont, Mayo AZ, and a handful of other state schools have all begun sending invites this last week. Seems pretty open already, but I do think you're right that next week will really start to pick up.
