Neurourology / Female Urology Position in Philadelphia

We would like to take this opportunity to announce an exciting clinical and academic faculty opportunity for a neurourologist/voiding dysfunction/female urology specialist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Urologic Institute of Southeastern Pennsylvania.Recently, the Department of Urology of the Einstein Health Network has affiliated with the Department of Urology at the Fox Chase Cancer Center to form the first Urologic Institute in the Philadelphia region.  Our goal is to create the preeminent urologic destination in Philadelphia and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Region.  As such, we are currently seeking fellowship-trained urologists to fill all subspecialties to enhance the care provided by the Institute. The prospective candidate’s clinical experience will be centered at the Einstein Health Network, which includes the MossRehab Center—recently ranked nationally in the top 10 by US News and World Report as a rehabilitation center for patients with all types of neurologic injuries.  At present, the MossRehab has over 200,000 outpatient visits and 2,500 inpatients visits per year, respectively.  The Moss Rehabilitation Center is a tertiary care referral center for Southeastern and Central Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware with a large adult spina bifida population and busy spinal cord injury and multiple sclerosis services.  Also, the new faculty member will have the opportunity to practice at Einstein’s new hospital, Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.  This hospital located in an affluent suburb of Philadelphia will offer a second, unique patient population that will be presenting primarily with incontinence (male and female), pelvic organ prolapse, and voiding dysfunction complaints.  In addition to these practice locations, the prospective candidate will have the opportunity to design and implement his/her vision for a comprehensive continence center, including an outpatient videourodynamic suite and in-office ultrasonographry.  Applicants must be Board certified/eligible in Urology and have a genuine interest in clinical care, teaching, and research.  Salary and benefits are very competitive and commensurate with a candidate’s level of training and experience.  Faculty academic rank provided and is also commensurate with candidate’s experience. We are looking to fill this position for the coming academic year (2014-15), so please feel free to share this information with a graduating fellow who may be interested in applying. We ask that candidates forward a cover letter and their curriculum vitae to canterda"at"einstein.edu.Sincerely,  Robert G. Uzzo, MD    and   Daniel Canter, MD
