Hi All-Was just peeking at the ERAS list of participating programs and was surprised to see 12 programs are listed as "Not Participating". This list may not be the absolute final list, but was wondering if anyone could weigh in on any of these programs (students at those institutions, residents in those programs) to confirm or deny that these programs are or are not participating? If it is any solace I have spoken to a resident at one of the above institutions and apparently their program didn't take anyone LAST year. They will be accepting applications for positions starting in 2015. So, it is entirely possible that some of these places have not updated their status from the year before. However, I wouldn't be surprised if some of these places, in fact, are not accepting applications. Only thing to do is actually contact them individually.
SLU shut down their program due to "catastrophic loss of resources," that is to say, all their attendings quit.
